"THEY HAVE DRIVEN THROUGH EVERY FOUR-WAY STOP TO MISLEAD"
Adrian Dix made a public rebuttal to the recent Liberal attack ad this morning on the corner of Bernard Avenue and Pandosy Street in Kelowna.
Stopping in front of the downtown Lululemon store Dix was questioned by reporters about the Liberal Party's criticisms of his responsibility as a political leader.
"It's another misleading smear ad," he said of the video accusing him of having a hand in a scandalous casino licensing in 1998.
"If the liberal party thinks they can mislead people at the end of a campaign like that they're wrong."
The Liberals are the ones who haven't been responsible, Dix said.
"They don't take responsibilty for the HST which damaged our entire economy and negatively affected every business in the province, they haven't taken responsibility for a budget that will bring serious cuts to seniors' care," he said.
"I take responsibility."
Turning the table on Christy Clark, Dix targeted the Liberals for misleading people on the provincial deficit and the ethnic voter scandal.
"They have driven through every four-way stop to mislead," Dix said, taking a jab at Clark recently caught running a red-light in Vancouver.
Dix also explained how he plans to win the historically Liberal Okanagan vote.
"We have great candidates in this region and people want a change here, I think this region has been neglected," he says.
"In Kelowna we've been running a very vigorous campaign for change."
