47-year-old man found dead in Vernon Creek

VERNON - The RCMP and B.C. Coroner's Service are investigating the death of a man found today in the Vernon creek.

The body of the 47-year-old man was found around 8 a.m. in the Vernon creek near 34 Street and 23 Avenue, said Cst. Jocelyn Noseworthy in a media release.

The RCMP, Fire Department and B.C. Ambulance Service responded to the scene.

Noseworthy says the RCMP is not releasing the name of the man, or any other details at this time.
