PENTICTON - The Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce (PWCCC) is pleased to announce: OPEN NOMINATIONS for the 29th Annual Business Excellence Awards brought to you by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment, July 15 to September 15, 2016.

The Excellence Awards aim to recognize local Penticton and area businesses that are setting a new standard in excellence in their respective fields. Through a significant and sustained commitment to innovation in their industry, these businesses and business leaders exemplify what it means to do business in Penticton.

The 29th Annual Business Excellence Awards brought to you by Gateway Casinos will be held at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre on Saturday October 15 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will kick off with a champagne reception, sponsored by Cherry Lane Mall. Guests will then flow into a gourmet dinner with wine sponsored by the Penticton Western. Soon after, the awards ceremony will begin with live announcements of the winners, a live auction and announce the winners of the silent auction. The event MC, auctioneer, and music professional will be DJ Haymaker, an Okanagan based professional entertainer who will bring a great fun energy to the event.

Nominations for this event close September 15, 2016. The Excellence Awards will be chosen by the Award Selection Committee. The Committee consists of local business leaders with varied experience in various industries. The committee remains anonymous to ensure the integrity of the selection process.
