TRAFFIC ADVISORY

VERNON - Travellers are advised the 201 Forest Service Road that connects
Kelowna to Penticton is closed at the 56.5-kilometre marker, effective
immediately until further notice.

The road has been washed out, and the recreation sites north of the
washout (north of the Greyback Forest Service Road) are accessible only
from Highway 33. Recreation sites south of the washout are accessible only
from the Okanagan Falls or Penticton side.

Ministry staff are working as quickly as possible to re-open the road.

For information on other recreation sites to visit in the area, visit:
www.sitesandtrailsbc.ca

Across the province, there are 55,000 kilometres of forest service roads
that provide access to British Columbia's backcountry.
