Wrestlemania and Arts Night Out top long weekend list of things to do in Penticton

PENTICTON - The Family Day long weekend promises to be an entertaining one in Penticton with sports and arts events topping the list of things to do.

Friday night is the second annual Arts Night Out, a fundraiser for the Community Arts Theatre in Penticton. The evening consists of dinner, live and silent auction, entertainment and dancing at the Penticton Lakeside Resort.

The silent auction begins at 6 p.m., Feb. 5, with dinner starting at 7 p.m. The live auction starts at 8:15 p.m. with dancing following at 9:30 p.m.

Tickets for this event need to be purchased beforehand. Call the Downtown Penticton Association office at 250-493-8540, or go online on the Penmar web page and follow the Arts Night Out link to purchase tickets. Tickets are $60.

WWE Live: Road to Wrestlemania comes to Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday.

Demon Kane, intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose, Dudley Boyz, Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt family will be performing live in Penticton along with many other WWE superstars and divas.

Tickets, priced between $20 and $100, can be purchased at the Valley First Box Office, the Wine Country Visitor Centre, by phone at 1-877-7632 or online. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
