A woman in Kamloops took an extra passenger with her while leaving a Sahali gas station on Saturday morning.
After entering the Sahali Esso briefly with her purse inside her Dodge Caravan with the doors unlocked, she returned to the vehicle, according to a Kamloops RCMP news release.
She began to drive away when a man yelled from the backseat and grabbed her from behind. She quickly stopped and the man fled the minivan and she cash was missing from her purse.
The incident on the 900-block of Columbia Street West occurred around 5 a.m. and RCMP were later contacted just before 6 a.m., July 31.
Police are now looking for the suspect who is described as a skinny Caucasian male, between 25 and 40 years old.
At the time, he was wearing a black ball cap with stripes on either side and a white logo on the front. He had a shoulder bag, a black face mask and a green jacket. The suspect was also wearing blue jeans and grey shoes with black laces, according to Kamloops RCMP.
