OLIVER - An argument gone wrong has led to possible charges after a woman was hit by a vehicle in Oliver.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dan Moskaluk said in a press release that 22-year-old Angelene Solien is accused of injuring a 49-year-old woman with her car in the 6000 block of Lakeside Drive in Oliver.
Solien allegedly fled the scene in what turned out to be a stolen vehicle and was arrested later in Princeton, Moskaluk said, adding the two women knew each other.
Solien appeared in court yesterday, Jan. 29, after her arrest on Friday. She's facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of stolen property, fail to offer assistance and theft of a motor vehicle.
