Austyn-Ann Godfrey shared a damning clue to Instagram the day prior to her body being discovered in Kelowna.
The 25-year-old Ontario woman's body was found at a dog park on Glenmore Road in Kelowna, Jan. 16. RCMP said her death was suspicious.
On Jan. 15 – one day before her body was found – she shared a screenshot with friends on Snapchat in which she appeared to be fearful for her safety.
“If I haven’t snapped in a week please call the Kelowna police,” Godfrey’s snap reads.
She goes on to name a man as well as share his age, birthday and travel habits. She also includes photos apparently of the man’s face, phone number, his Snapchat name and vehicle.
The man she named “has probably done something to me,” she said.

In Godfrey’s most recent Instagram post, shared five days ago on Jan. 14, she uploaded a video with a caption that suggests she just ended a relationship.
“Freedom looks damn good on me R.I.P to that toxic ass boy and that entire relationship,” reads the post. “I do thank you tho for showing me what I exactly don’t want in a man you sure made the last year together hell. I’m excited to see the woman I’m gonna become it’s only up from here.”
The RCMP is hoping to get in touch with drivers with dash cams who drove near the dog park between 9 p.m. on Jan 15 and 8:30 a.m. on Jan. 16.
