KAMLOOPS - The 19th annual Kamloops Wine Festival will be wrapping up this weekend and organizers say the grand finale will be the best way to top off the week-long event.
The festival is a fundraiser for the Kamloops Art Gallery, and although it's wrapping up this weekend, organizers are hoping to go out with a bang.
According to the Kamloops Art Gallery, the consumer wine tasting is being held on May 13 as the grand finale to the week of wine. It's being held at the Coast Kamloops Hotel.
More than 40 exhibitors will be at the tasting with wines to sample and food by UpTown Chefs and more will be there.
Cathi Marshall and the Gentlemen will be playing music during the event.
A silent auction featuring wine and art will also be held, and tickets are $55 per person, with a group rate for five or more of $45 per ticket.
