SOUTH OKANAGAN - A documentary that follows three South Okanagan wineries through a season is rolling out the red carpet for its premiere showing in Oliver in two weeks.
Local production artists and videographers Jon Hunwick and Kenton Gilchrist of Asymetriq Productions Inc. are ready to release their latest film titled Ventures in Wine Country, the story of three Okanagan wineries and their progress of becoming contenders on the global wine scene.
The documentary follows Painted Rock, Covert Farms and Terra Bella Vineyards through a season, highlighting the steps of the wine-making process. The premiere will be held at the Oliver Theatre, Wednesday Nov. 26, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. There will be door prizes, a Q&A with the producers and a special screening of Anxious Oswald Green, winner of 13 Leo Awards in 2014.
