Who is Kamloops's cutest toddler?

That's up to you, as votes are about to be locked in on a social media contest.

Jessica Meyn is a local photographer who, since hosting Kamloops's cutest baby contest in December, felt it was only fair to launch another for the older toddlers.

Parents of children aged one to three can enter their child for a chance to win family photography packages from All Mine Photography, and anyone else is welcome to vote on the Facebook contest.

Submissions will close at 4 p.m. on May 1, and there are plenty already posted on her page.

Each vote will be counted by the number of Facebook 'likes' they get, and Meyn will tally them into the top six when voting time closes.

She was delighted to hold the contest in December, and she hopes to continue passing along that joy with this one.

"It's just a gallery of cute little faces," Meyn said.

Many industries took a hit since the pandemic started, but Meyn said this winter she has never been busier. With all the health precautions she's taken, including masks, sanitizer and social distancing, she's had no problem keeping up with the demand.

"What keeps me going is the fun of interactions with different families," she said. "It's so much fun to collaborate, and it would be boring if it was just my ideas."

The top six will each win a mini family session, valued at $125. The first prize will also win a $200 family photo session.
