WEST KELOWNA – The Westbank Shopping Centre has been sold.

Ray Kandola, owner of City Furniture and Appliance next door to the shopping centre, purchased the property and 74,000-square feet of leasable space Jan. 12, according to a media release.

The mall is anchored by Landmark Cinemas on Highway 97 between Gossett Road and Bering Road.

The Westbank Shopping Centre opened in 1996 and was the first major project built on land owned by Westbank First Nation, the release says.

It is also home to Lammle’s Western Wear, Liquor Depot, White Spot and TD Canada Trust.
