West Kelowna homeowners forced from their home due to fire

A fire in a single-family home in the 3100 block of Shetler Drive in West Kelowna forced the owners out last night, July 17.

“The residence was fully involved and all occupants were out of the building when first arriving apparatus arrived on scene,” says a news release from West Kelowna Fire Rescue.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The homeowners are being assisted by Emergency Social Services, the news release says.

West Kelowna Fire Rescue responded with 21 personnel, four engines, one aerial truck and one command unit.
