WEST KELOWNA - West Kelowna police are looking for witnesses of an early morning Tuesday assault that sent a man to hospital.
According to a press release, West Kelowna RCMP responded to a reported assault at the south parking lot of the Sonic Car Wash on the 1200 block of Hudson Road just after 3:30 a.m. on July 16. Frontline officers found a man at the scene suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital where he is still receiving medical treatment.
The investigation into the attack has just begun, but police suspect the assault was not a random incident. Police are trying to identify the suspect and determine the series of events that led to the assault.
