Temperatures could reach double digits this week in Kamloops and almost as warm in the Okanagan.
Normally it only gets up to 5 Celsius at this time of year but Kamloops could reach 10 C tomorrow, Feb. 21, with a 60% chance of light snow to start things off.
Kamloops should be a mix of sun and cloud for much of the week with highs around 8 C through the weekend. Overnight lows, normally down to -3 C, should stay slightly above freezing into the weekend.
The Okanagan highs are forecast by Environment Canada to be also be around the 8 C range through Saturday with overnight lows of around 1 C.
There is a 30% chance of rain showers or flurries overnight tonight with clearing skies later in the week in Vernon and Kelowna.
Penticton has a 30% chance of a drizzle today and a 60% chance of showers overnight.
