In spite of this past weekend's below seasonal temperatures, it appears summer isn't over in Kamloops just yet.

The city can look forward to temperatures rebounding into the 30s this week with the possibility of some midweek showers, but otherwise, lots of sun.

Environment Canada says clouds will become a mix of sun and cloud this morning, Aug. 31,  with west winds at 20 km/h, a high of 25 Celsius and a low of 14 C expected.

Tuesday should see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 30 C and a low of 14 C.

There is a 30 per cent chance of showers on Wednesday with a high of 28 C and a low of 12 under a mix of sun and cloud.

The heat continues on Thursday and Friday with highs of 31 C and lows of 15 C and 14 C respectively, again under mostly sunny skies.

The weekend looks pretty nice at this point, with a high of 30 C expected Saturday and 26 C on Sunday, with lots of sunshine.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of 25 C and lows of 11 C.
