PENTICTON - Three of Canada's most famous figure skaters are bringing their skills to Penticton’s South Okanagan Events Centre this fall.

Tessa Virtue, Scott Moir and Patrick Chan announced their first annual Rock the Rink Tour this morning, April 9, with an Oct. 6, 2019 stop at Penticton’s events centre.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3 at rocktherink.com

The cross Canada tour includes some select U.S. cities as well, featuring Virtue, Moir, Chan, Kaetlyn Osmond and Elvis Stojko. World renowned European skaters including Italian world champions Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte will be part of the tour, as will American Olympic medalist and world champion Carolina Kostner and four time U.S. national champion Jeremy Abbott.

Rock the Rink focuses on being more than a figure skating show, combining the highest level of on-ice talent with a constantly evolving touring production that will include live music in this year’s show.

“The goal for Rock the Rink is to be something that fans of skating and live entertainment will look forward to year after year, knowing that it will always be a can’t miss night,” says Scott Moir.
