KAMLOOPS - Sixty years ago, Kamloops was a budding community that looked far different from what it is today and lucky for us someone was smart enough to use video to preserve historical images for future generations.
This short 16 millimetre film shows what the view from the South Shore looked like in 1954.
In this video you may notice the lack of development on Tk'emlups Indian Band land on the northeast side of the river, and even on the North Shore. You may also notice the Overlanders Bridge is not yet built when this video was taken.
