KAMLOOPS - Firefighters in Kamloops have posted a video teasing the release of the 2017 Kamloops Fire Rescue calendar.

It's a behind the scenes look at the making of next year's calendar which will raise money for the B.C. Firefighters Burn Fund and the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation.

Spokesperson Cory Poirier says they hope to have the calendar ready by the first week of September.

The firefighters are holding a launch party on Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chances Casino.

"The launch party will be open to the public where guests can buy calendars, have them signed by the firefighters and take pictures with them," Porier says.

You can get updates at the Kamloops Fire Fighters Charitable Society's Facebook page.
