Kal Tire Place South is temporarily closed today and tomorrow for repairs.
The ice chiller needs repairs so the arena has been closed March 10 and 11, according to a press release from the city.
The ice surface is going to thaw while city crews work on fixing the chiller, so it won’t be useable until the chiller is fixed.
Some scheduled events have been cancelled while others have been rescheduled or moved to a different arena.
Kal Tire North is still open.
“The City appreciates everyone’s patience while this important work is being completed,” the release said.
