Vernon Vipers looking to finish off Vees

PENTICTON – Luke Voltin scored the first goal of the game and potted the winner as the Vernon Vipers edged the Vees 4-3 in double overtime at the South Okanagan Events Centre.

Voltin’s goal in the second overtime came when his pass hit the leg of a teammate and went into Vees net.

With the win, the Vipers take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven BCHL Interior Division final.

The Snakes can clinch the playoff series tonight, March 21, in game 6 at Kal Tire Place. The puck drops at 6 p.m.
