VERNON - Police are looking for tips to help solve a break and enter last month in Vernon.

At roughly 12:20 a.m. on Dec. 23, police responded to an alarm at Napa Auto Parts on 43 Avenue, Const. Jocelyn Noseworthy says in a media release issued today, Jan. 5.

“Police attended and confirmed that an unknown person had broken a window, entered the business, and stolen a portable TIG 200 ACDC welding system,” Noseworthy says.

Surveillance video shows a white truck pulled up to the business and was used to flee the scene.

Anyone with information about the crime, or the vehicle, is asked to contact the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
