VERNON - Vernon RCMP have located over 100 suspected stolen items estimated to be worth over $35,000 from a storage locker in Vernon.

Two people have charged in relation to the find, according to an RCMP media release. Brandon Wilson and Natasha Perry, both 32 years old and from Vernon, have been charged with residential and commercial break and enter, and possession of stolen property.

The charges relate to offences that took place in Vernon and Coldstream in December 2018.

RCMP say officers executed a search warrant at a local storage locker facility on Jan. 16 and found the goods, that include a large number of tools and range from a boat motor to a horse saddle.

Brandon remains in custody awaiting future court appearances, while Perry has been released with conditions.

"Officers are working hard to reunite victims with their property at this time and any identified victims are being contacted by police to attend the local detachment," RCMP spokesperson Const. Kelly Brett said in the release.
