KAMLOOPS - A car left at the head of a popular hiking trail near Kamloops was targeted by vandals Monday morning.

Officers at the Kamloops Rural RCMP detachment are looking for information to find out who smashed a car window around 11:35 a.m. near the Red Lake Mara Trail Monday.

The driver's side window on a Subaru was smashed, but Staff Sgt. Doug Aird says nothing appeared to be taken from the vehicle.

Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity take place between 11:35 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to call the local RCMP detachment at 250-828-3000.
