KAMLOOPS — Reports are coming in of a vehicle incident that occurred in Kamloops' Valleyview area this morning.
Platoon Captain Wade Lindoff reports that Kamloops Fire Rescue responded to the call at about 10 a.m. for a vehicle that had hit a hydro pole causing it to fall and knock some lines down as well. The incident occured at the East Trans Canada Highway at Frontage Road near Robin Road.
Two males were inside. Minor injuries were reported. There was no indication that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.
Crews were on scene for over two hours to control traffic and clean up spilled fluid from a damaged transformer.
