UPDATE: Highway 1 in Shuswap opened to single lane alternating traffic

KAMLOOPS - If you're planning on heading out to the Shuswap or Alberta for the long weekend, you'll want to prepare for some delays on Highway 1.

The Trans-Canada Highway is now open to single lane alternating traffic roughly five kilometres west of Chase, after a vehicle incident shut down the road earlier today, Aug. 31.
