UPDATE: Coquihalla reopens after vehicle incident but heavy delays expected

The Coquihalla has fully reopened this afternoon following a vehicle incident this morning, but drivers can expect heavy delays.

Highway 5 was closed this morning roughly 1 km north of Hope to 3 km south of the Coquihalla Summit, due to a vehicle incident.

Drivers can expect major delays and heavy traffic in the area.

A detour is in effect via Highway 3.
