It's the longest winning streak since September.

Harley-Davidson jumped 6 per cent after the company reported that its motorcycle sales rose worldwide.

The Standard & Poor's 500 index rose seven points, or 0.4 per cent, to close at 1,879 Tuesday.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 65 points, or 0.4 per cent, to 16,514. The Nasdaq composite rose 39 points, or 1 per cent, to 4,161.

Bond prices didn't change much. The yield on the 10-year Treasury note was flat at 2.72 per cent.
