Recalls this week include toy pistols with too much lead, defective swings, and bicycles

A line of toy pistols with excessive levels of lead and swing seats that can break from under their occupants are among this week's recalled products. Other recalls include faulty bicycles and leaky cleaning products.

Here's a more detailed look:

TOY PISTOLS

DETAILS: Captain Cutlass Toy Pirate Pistols imported by Dillon Importing Co. of Oklahoma City, Okla. and made by Ko Lik Manufacturing Ltd. of Hong Kong. They were sold at Halloween and specialty stores nationwide from April 2008 through May 2012. The toy pistols have a brown plastic grip, a black metallic stock and barrel, and a muzzle with an orange cap. The double-barrelled toy pistol has one trigger and two hammers. A skull and crossbones motif is engraved on the grip.

WHY: The surface paints on the toy pistols contain excessive levels of lead.

INCIDENTS: None reported.

GARDEN SWINGS

DETAILS: Wilson & Fisher Garden Swings imported by Big Lots Inc. and manufactured by Anji Jiayi Garden Supplies Co. of Xiaofeng Town, China. They were sold exclusively at Big Lots stores nationwide from March through June 2012. The Wilson & Fisher log-style swing sets sold in a natural wood finish. The swing's two-person bench seat is suspended between two wooden A-frame supports.

WHY: The wooden swing's seat can break while in use, posing a fall hazard.

INCIDENTS: 14 reports of swing seats breaking, resulting in four reports of back pain and five reports of scratches and scrapes.

HOW MANY: About 6,900.

BICYCLES

DETAILS: Bicycles distributed by Specialized Bicycle Components Inc. of Morgan Hill, Calif. and made by Kinesis of China. They were sold at authorized specialized retailers from July 2007 to July 2012. The recall includes 2008 and 2009 models of women's and men's Globe model bicycles. The models include: the Globe Elite, Globe Sport, Globe Sport Disc, Globe Centrum Comp, Globe Centrum Elite, Globe City 6, Globe Vienna 3, Globe Vienna 3 Disc, Globe Vienna 4, Globe Vienna Deluxe 3, Globe Vienna Deluxe 4, Globe Vienna Deluxe 5 and Globe Vienna Deluxe 6 bicycles. The brand name "Specialized" is on the lower frame tube and the model name is on various locations on the bicycle frame.

WHY: The front fork can break, posing fall and injury hazards.

INCIDENTS: Specialized has received four reports of front forks breaking, resulting in facial fractures, head and shoulder injuries and cuts.

HOW MANY: About 12,000.

WOOD CLEANER

DETALS: Cabot Stains Wood Cleaner and Wood Brightener in container with spray pump. Both products come in 1.3 gallon white handle tanks with black pump assembly and sprayer hose. The front has a yellow Cabot label with the product name. The back panel label contains instructions for use and product information and UPC codes 080351810503 on the Wood Cleaner bottles and 080351810497 on the Wood Brightener bottles. They were sold from March 2011 to June 2012.

WHY: The spray pump used for both products can lose its seal, causing the product to leak. Chemicals in these products can cause burning or other serious injuries if it comes into contact with skin or eyes or is ingested.

INCIDENTS: Three incidents of leaks have been reported, but no reported injuries.

HOW MANY: About 17,500 units of the Wood Cleaner and 10,900 units of the Wood Brightener.

DIVE COMPUTERS

DETAILS: Cobalt Dive Computers made by Atomic Aquatics of Huntington Beach, Calif. They were sold at authorized Atomic Aquatics dealers from November 2010 through July 2012. The Atomic Aquatics brand Cobalt dive computers are handheld, console-style dive computers with LCD screens and four magnetic control buttons located below the screen. A fitting at the bottom of the computer connects to the high pressure hose of a scuba diving regulator. The Atomic Aquatics logo is imprinted on the front of the console, below the screen.

WHY: The unit can leak and cause the lens of the computer to blow off suddenly, which could result in impact injuries, and can cause a gas leak, posing a drowning hazard.

INCIDENTS: None reported.

HOW MANY: About 4,000 in the U.S. and 200 in Canada.

SWING SEATS

DETAILS: Cyclone swing seats made by YCH Industries Corp. The recall involves green, blue or yellow plastic, disc-shaped Cyclone swing seats. The swings are about 12 inches in diameter and have a cone-shaped plastic piece in the middle to hold the swing's rope. Only swings with date codes "2012 5 18" through "2012 6 25" stamped on the underside in black are included in the recall. They were sold at swingsetmall.com and playsetparts.com from May 2012 through June 2012.

WHY: The seats can break during use, posing a fall hazard.

INCIDENTS: The firm has received two reports of incidents involving the swing seats breaking. No injuries have been reported
