CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Helen Mirren is being honoured as woman of the year by Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals.

The 68-year-old Mirren was in Massachusetts on Thursday for a parade and roast, and to receive her ceremonial pudding pot.

She won the 2007 best actress Oscar for her role as Queen Elizabeth II in "The Queen" and has been nominated on three other occasions. She also appeared in "Age of Consent, "Gosford Park" and "The Madness of King George."

Hasty Pudding Theatricals is America's oldest undergraduate drama troupe. Its awards are presented annually to performers who have made a lasting and impressive contribution to entertainment. Emmy Award-winning actor Neil Patrick Harris has been named man of the year. He'll be honoured Feb. 7.

Last year's winners were Marion Cotillard and Kiefer Sutherland.
