MONROEVILLE, Ala. - "To Kill a Mockingbird" author Harper Lee is again trying to end her lawsuit against a museum in her hometown in south Alabama.
Attorneys for Lee and the Monroe County Heritage Museum filed a joint motion on Wednesday to dismiss the case.
The move comes two weeks after a federal judge in Mobile reinstated the lawsuit at the request of the 88-year-old author from Monroeville, Alabama.
Lee filed suit last year accusing a small museum in Monroeville of taking advantage of her work by selling souvenirs and using the title of her only published book as its website address.
The author and the museum had settled the case in February, but the agreement was never signed.
Attorneys on both sides didn't immediately to respond to messages seeking comment.
