An RCMP traffic accident specialist examines a flipped transport truck two kilometres north of Summerland on Highway 97. The accident occurred late afternoon on Monday. Only minor injuries reported.

Traffic appears to be moving normally after the accident site has been cleaned up.
UPDATE 6:11 p.m., July 15
An overturned truck just north of Highway 97 is blocking north bound traffic.
The driver of the transport truck and driver and passenger of a flipped car had minor injuries, according to an RCMP officer on scene. All three individuals are at Pentiction Regional Hospital.
Drivers should be prepared to wait if headed northbound on highway 97. Traffic is backed up at least 1 km and is moving slowly.
Emergency responders are on scene.
The driver and passenger of this car were taken to Penticton Regional Hospital with minor injuries. The flipped car was at the same site where a transport truck carrying lumber flipped and crashed late Monday afternoon on Highway 97. The crash site was several kilometres north of Summerland and northbound traffic was delayed for 30-minutes plus.
