Update: Power restored for 1,200 Kelowna homes

Kelowna homes have been left without power Feb. 1.

Power has been restored to 1,200 Kelowna homes after residents were left in the dark this morning.

The outage was first reported at 9:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 along Glenmore Drive near the Kelowna Golf and Country Club, according to Fortis BC.

The cause is currently unknown and Fortis has restored power as of 1 p.m.
