LAKE COUNTRY - Police need help locating a 14-year-old boy who was reported missing Monday morning.

Christopher Kolodychuk lives in the 3200 block of Berry Road in Winfield. He was last seen at the bus stop on Berry Road Sunday at noon when he was dropped off by his family. He was supposed to catch the bus to Kelowna to visit a friend but hasn't returned home.

Police say there is no reason to suspect foul play because Christopher has since made contact with his family using social media. They also say he might be in either Kelowna or Vernon.

Christopher will continue to be considered a missing person until police can confirm his whereabouts.

He is described as Caucasian, 5'6", 110 lbs, brown/hazel eyes, brown hair past his eyes, two piercings on his ears and one piercing on his right eyebrow. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans, a black baseball cap with a diamond insignia with a black backpack.

Anyone with information about Christopher Kolodychuk's whereabouts is asked to call the Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288.
