RCMP are investigating after a large sculpture was stolen from the yard of a Vernon home earlier this month.

According to a Vernon North Okanagan media release, the distinct sculpture was stolen from a property in the 7700 block of Okanagan Landing Road.

Police say on Oct. 12 at roughly 4 a.m. a person walked into the yard at the property, removed the sculpture from an exterior wall of the house, and then left.

As the sculpture is rather distinct, RCMP are distributing a picture of the artwork to further the investigation.

Anyone that may have seen the piece of art, or has any information is urged to call the Vernon RCMP at 250-545-7171, or remain anonymous and call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or leave a tip online at www.nokscrimestoppers.com.
