A UBC Okanagan study is looking into how travel patterns changed through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Researchers are offering a chance to win gift cards for people willing to take 10 to 15 minutes to fill out its online survey.

“This pandemic has significantly changed our behaviour, from in-person to remote activities,” the introduction to the survey says.

“This study will collect information related to respondents’ daily behaviour regarding work, study, shopping, leisure and health related activities, transit and technology usage, and socio- demographic aspects."

The research is being led by Dr. Mahmudur Fatmi, assistant professor of Civil Engineering.

“The findings will be useful to develop critical travel demand management policies for in-person activities and remote learning strategies in a post-pandemic world,” the introduction says.

Those willing to supply an email address will be eligible for a draw for one of 10 gift cards worth $50 each.

The survey can be taken here.
