Two small wildfires spark east of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — B.C. Wildfire Service personnel are currently responding to two small wildfires near Pritchard Lake and Willow Road this afternoon.

The wildfires are estimated at less than 0.01 hectare, according to the B.C. Wildfire map.

The Pritchard Lake wildfire is believed to be human caused while the Willow Road wildfire is believed to be caused by lightning.

Both wildfires were discovered today, June 13.

The Wildfire map also shows three wildfires near the Clearwater area that were discovered today as well.
