PENTICTON - Two Penticton residents are facing a number of charges and a third is wanted by police following several break ins in the Penticton area.
The Targeted Enforcement Unit was brought in to identify the suspects after a home was broken into on June 13. The security camera at the home aided Mounties in identifying the three suspects and two of them, both well known to police, were quickly arrested.
Two search warrants were executed in relation to the arrests and items stolen in three different break ins were located, including two shot guns, ammunition and drugs, RCMP say in a release.
Mika Grgich, 30, and Aaron Ceretti, 29, are now facing more than two dozen charges between them. Both remain in custody and will appear in court this week. The third suspect, a 34-year-old Penticton man is still wanted by police.
Grgich is facing 13 counts and Ceretti a total of 12 counts. Both face charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and over $5,000, possession of a controlled substance, possessing a firearm contrary to an order, unauthorized possession of a firearm and careless storage of a firearm.
