Two injured in North Okanagan logging truck rollover

A fully-loaded logging truck overturned this morning on Mabel Lake Road near Lumby and traffic is down to a single lane.

RCMP said in a media release the logging truck overturned around 6:30 a.m. today, Oct. 1, on Lumby Mabel Lake Road near the intersection with Birch Road north of Lumby.

Police and commercial vehicle safety enforcement personnel are currently on scene investigating.

There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.

B.C. Ambulance personnel transported two occupants in the logging truck to hospital with undetermined injuries.
