KELOWNA – Two men have been charged with multiple offences relating to what police call a series of vehicle thefts in Kelowna this month.

On Sep. 6 the Kelowna RCMP Street Enforcement Team with the assistance of a police dog arrested two men for possession of break-in instruments and theft of motor vehicles.

Kody James Phillips, 27, is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 1 while Joshua Albert Fleurant, 18, pleaded guilty and remains in custody according to a release from the Kelowna RCMP.

RCMP did not confirm how many vehicles the men allegedly stole or where they were taken from.
