And with that, Canadian movie star Ryan Reynolds revealed he kept his end of the bargain and invited a camera crew for his colonoscopy.
But he wasn't alone. In the spirit of camaraderie, his Wrexham AFC business partner and friend — It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator and star Rob McElhenney — also had his procedure recorded for posterity.
The pair are using their celebrity status to raise awareness for LEAD FROM BEHIND, a non-profit on a mission to make colon cancer famous.
