VANCOUVER - If your snapshot from the window seat makes Canada look good, the Vancouver Airport Authority wants to see it.
The organization has launched an online gallery that celebrates the beauty of the country as seen from above.
For its new "Canada From the Air" campaign, the authority is asking air travellers to submit photos via Twitter (@yvrairport, hashtag #YVRCANADA) or email (canadafromtheair@yvr.ca).
Images of Niagara Falls, downtown Toronto and the Rocky Mountains, as well as plenty of cloud vistas, are among photos posted so far at www.yvr.ca/YVRCANADA. Most were taken with smartphones, an airport spokesperson said.
Some submissions will also be used to adorn walls in Vancouver International Airport's domestic terminal, which is undergoing renovation.
