Two of Kelowna’s skating rinks will close to the public over the next few days
Skating will end on the popular Stuart Park outdoor rink as of 10 a.m. Tuesday. Skate rentals will be available Monday, Feb. 28.
While it has been chilly, if not downright cold, the last few days, overnight lows by Monday will be at or above the freezing level with daytime highs potentially reaching double digits.

“With spring just around the corner, it’s time to wrap skating at Stuart Park for another year,” Steve Fagan, the City of Kelowna’s arenas and stadiums supervisor, said in a news release. “We enjoyed seeing so many smiling faces on the rink this season.”
Today, Feb. 25, is the last day for indoor public skating at the Capital News Centre.
Public indoor skating will continue at the Memorial and Rutland arenas. Go here to view times.
