PENTICTON - Nomination packages for the uncapping municipal election can be picked up starting today at the Regional District offices and online.
The packages include necessary forms and information to help candidates, such as dates, process and strategic plans.
Candidates are required to have two qualified nominators sign their nomination. There is no nomination deposit required.
The nomination period starts Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 9:30 a.m. and ends Friday, Oct. 10 at 4 p.m. Nomination forms can be returned during that time.
The polls will be open for votes on November 15 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
