KELOWNA - A new Tim Hortons restaurant and drive-thru is planned for the parking lot of the Canadian Tire store on Leckie Road in Kelowna.
City council approved a development permit this week to allow the outlet to be built north of the Canadian Tire gas station fronting Highway 97.
It will cover 250 square meters with indoor and outdoor seating in an area that’s currently used for parking.
A raised berm will be landscaped to screen the drive-thru from the highway.
