Three vehicles have catalytic converters stolen on same Kelowna street

Kelowna RCMP are investing after three catalytic converters were stolen at the same location over nine days, the most recent today.

On Jan. 6, police received a report that overnight a suspect stole a sensor and a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Graham Street in Kelowna, according to an RCMP media release. On Jan. 13, police received another report that a second catalytic converter was stolen from another vehicle parked on that same block during the night.

Then today, Jan. 14, police received a third report of a catalytic converter being stolen from a third vehicle parked on the same block of Graham Street.

“These investigations are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with knowledge of these crimes to please come forward,” Kelowna RCMP media liaison Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy said in the release. “We would also like to remind everyone to call us immediately if you see any suspicious activity.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300. You can remain completely anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or by leaving a tip online here.
