KELOWNA - Kelowna police are searching for a suspect who's believed to have committed three robberies within hours of each other last night.

Police responded to a reported robbery at the Shell gas station on Highway 33 at 7:45 p.m. yesterday, March 28, according to an RCMP media release. A knife-wielding male suspect stole the contents from the cash register and fled on foot.

As officers began processing the scene, they received word of another robbery at the Super Save gas station on Highway 33. That same station was hit for a second time that night at 10:50 p.m., as the same employee who'd been working during the first robbery reported that a man holding an unknown object demanded money and fled on foot.

Police believe these robberies were committed by the same suspect. He's described as 6' tall and was wearing black pants and a black hoodie.

Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to contact Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
