Three arrested in connection to Kamloops commercial break-ins

KAMLOOPS - Police in Kamloops have arrested three people in connection to recent break-ins after discovering a stolen vehicle parked outside a motel room.

In a news release, Staff Sgt. Edward Preto says China Fern Davis, George Thomas Grant and Michael Kenneth stone were arrested at a local motel on the afternoon of March 14.

Preto says stolen property was discovered after a search warrant was executed on the trio's motel room later that evening.

He says the three accused appeared in Kamloops Provincial Court yesterday and have been remanded into custody until a court appearance next week.

Davis, Grant and Kenneth have been charged with a variety of offences including break and enter and commit theft, possession of stolen property. Grant has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

"The charges were in connection to several break and enters earlier this week in the City of Kamloops," Preto says. 

The alleged break-ins occurred at an auto paint protection business, a concrete accessories supply business and a hardware supply store.
