KAMLOOPS - Now that Christmas is over it’s time to start planning for New Year's Eve.
As 2018 comes to an end, you’ll find there are plenty of things to do around the city and for the last weekend of 2018.
Club Vim will be hosting a Pre-New Year’s Eve Party at Cactus Jack’s Nightclub on Friday, Dec. 28 starting at 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The featuring artist is Rumpus with Dr. Brae. Pre-sale tickets are $15 and door tickets are $20. Guests are invited to dress in their best attire or anything black and shiny. For tickets go here.
The Kamloops Museum has been hosting a holiday scavenger hunt since Dec. 18 and it will be wrapping up this Saturday, Dec. 29. Stop by the museum from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to test your searching skills to find all the Christmas-related artifacts hidden throughout the galleries at this family-friendly event.
If you’re looking to watch some professional bull riding on New Year’s Eve this may be the event for you. The 8th annual New Year’s Eve professional bull riding and dance will have some of the top riders from Canada, Brazil, Australia, and Mexico all at the North Thompson Agriplex in Barriere on Monday, Dec. 31 starting at 6 p.m. For tickets go here.
If you wanted a New Years in Vegas, head to the Coast Kamloops Conference Centre on Dec. 31 at 6 p.m. This 19-plus event will bring you a mix of entertainment and fun including stand-up comedy, a live DJ, champagne at midnight and more. For more information go here.
