Thieves steal skid steer from Penticton business

Penticton RCMP and South Okanagan Crime Stoppers are looking for this Bobcat skid steer loader, stolen yesterday morning from an Industrial Place contractor's yard, Jan. 7, 2021

Thieves made off with a Bobcat skid steer from a Penticton business yesterday.

Crime Stoppers South Okanagan reports two persons entered a compound at Inland Contracting, 150 Industrial Place in Penticton around 6:10 yesterday morning, Jan. 7.

The thieves started a Bobcat skid steer loader, driving it through a fence and along a trail leading to Okanagan Avenue and Quebec Street.

Police think the equipment was loaded onto a trailer before leaving the area.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Penticton RCMP at 250-492-4300, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
